We have been parents of VPG patients since 1998. We started with Dr. Baugh after our OBGYN suggested him as a favored pediatrician. He visited us at Arlington Hospital to check on our first child, a son, who promptly peed on Dr. B’s cuffs. We were mortified but he laughed and said, “no need to worry about the bladder or its related functionings!” We always wanted to develop a relationship with a doctor for our kids; not just be someone who comes in and no one remembers. VPG is this practice. Over the years, we have gotten to know Dr. Weinstein, Dr. Jain, Dr. Unikel, LNP Shannon and Dr. Libby. We have felt heard and seen by all the doctors and their staff. Dr. Unikel, in particular, has been steady, kind, and extremely generous with her time as we entered late adolescence with our youngest son and struggles surrounding COVID/pandemic and the racial drop in social opportunities. Everyone at VPG is amazing. One day, our kids will be too old to be seen by a pediatrician. We will miss them all.
