Meaghan Selki is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) who is passionate about helping families meet their infant feeding goals. She looks forward to offering her expertise at the Virginia Pediatric Group offices in Herndon and Aldie, Virginia.

Meaghan believes in meeting families where they are and helping them get to where they want to be with compassionate, judgment-free, and evidence-based infant feeding support.

As a veteran and mother of five, coming into the world of lactation wasn't a linear path for her. Meaghan's personal ups and downs on her breastfeeding journey sparked her interest in supporting breastfeeding families. But it wasn't until she was deployed to Iraq that she realized it was time to make a switch that aligned her career with her passion.

Meaghan has been practicing lactation support since 2020 in various settings, including the hospital immediately after birth, outpatient clinics, pediatric offices, and even home visits. She considers herself grateful for the privilege of working with families at such a special time in their lives, and she most enjoys watching the babies grow.

Meaghan lives in Leesburg with her culinary genius of a husband and the wildest bunch of charming boys that span 1 to 14 years old. In her spare time, Meaghan loves reading, running, watching her boys play soccer, visiting farmers markets, and exploring new places with her family.
