Vision Photoscreening

In accordance with the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines, we now offer photoscreening vision services at our 1 year, 2 year and 3 year well checks in order to identify the most common vision problems in children in a timely manner. Photoscreening tools help to detect amblyopia, high refractive error, and strabismus, which are the most common conditions leading to impaired vision in children. The Go Check Kids photoscreening tool will be used to take a photo of your child's eyes to determine if your child is at risk for vision problems. If noted to be "at risk", she will be promptly referred to an Ophthalmologist for further evaluation and treatment.
