I am a board certified Physician Assistant who has worked in pediatrics for the last 15 years. My first job as a PA was working in Southeast Washington, DC where I gained valuable experience on inner city medicine and the challenges and great rewards that come with treating the medically underserved.
Two years ago I became a mother. In addition to enriching my home life, motherhood has changed me as a provider as well. I understand the trials of being a new mom - the sleepless nights, the seemingly never-ending colds. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the newborns in the office and helping the parents through the rewarding but difficult first few weeks of life. What I enjoy most about pediatrics however, is watching the kids grow and develop throughout the years.
