Congratulations on the upcoming birth of your baby! We would like to take the opportunity to introduce you to the Virginia Pediatric Group. We are a pediatric primary care group attending to the needs of children and their families from birth through adolescence. All of the physicians are Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and work well together to provide consistent, compassionate, and up-to-date medical care of the highest quality. The support staff of registered nurses have many years of professional experience as well as the practical experience of parenting.

We provide many important services to broaden our scope of complete care. Certified specialists on lactation and infant development are indispensable components of our office team. Counseling professionals are available to assist families through any kind of difficult transition a family might encounter.

Your introduction to care begins with a prenatal interview. Your visit includes an opportunity to see and feel the spirit of the office. You may observe and meet with some of our nursing and support staff, then discuss the upcoming birth of your baby with the doctor. We will thoroughly examine and discuss the health and care of your newborn with you as soon as possible after delivery. The nursing staff, lactation consultant, and your doctor will supervise any special circumstances or problems.
