Jennifer Klein, M.D., F.A.A.P.
Pediatrician in Fairfax County & Loudoun County, VAVirginia Pediatric Group
Dr. Jennifer grew up in Potomac, Maryland, where she dreamed of becoming a doctor or an astronaut. As a kid, you could find her at space camp and collecting astronaut autographs.
She attended Washington University in St. Louis as a Danforth Scholar where she majored in Anthropology and Biology. By now it was clear that medicine was her life's calling. She attended Emory University in Atlanta, GA for medical school. And while she loves exploring new cities, Jennifer was thrilled to return to her hometown of Washington, D.C. for residency. She completed her training at Children's National Medical Center in the Primary Care Track.
Her medical interests include newborn care, cardiology, and public health. She has pursued these interests in the U.S. and abroad, with multiple publications and presentations on these and other topics. Jennifer is very excited to join Virginia Pediatric Group and considers it her great honor to be entrusted with the care of children. She looks forward to partnering with families as their children grow into happy, healthy adults.
Jennifer currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their little mutt dog. In her free time she enjoys painting, hiking, biking and star gazing. She still dreams of someday traveling to outer space!
