Virginia Pediatric Group, LTD. works hard to provide the best pediatric healthcare available. We strive for the optimal physical and mental health in our patients. We are approachable and available. Our staff is expert in the care of children from birth through adolescence. We take pride in our patients' healthy growth and development. Our goal is to be a resource for your family and a partner in your child's health.
Our office days begins at 8:00am, however you may call as early as 7:00am to schedule an appointment. Nurses are available for general well and sick child advice through the day until 5:00pm. They routinely refer more complex medical questions to the medical practitioners. They will leave messages for a specific doctor if requested. Our voice mail system can be accessed for prescription refill requests, referral authorizations and school or camp form requests. We do ask that you call with these requests after 10:00am so that the phones can be more accessible for medical concerns early in the morning. After 5:00pm our answering service will convey messages to the office if we are still there, and emergency situations will be directed to the physician on call. Please make sure you say and spell the patient's name, age, phone number and problem. Make sure you have a pharmacy number available and a recent record of your child's temperature or other relevant physical measurement.
