OUR VISION
We are a pediatric primary care group attending to the needs of children and their families from birth through adolescence. All of the physicians are Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and work well together to provide consistent, compassionate, and up-to-date medical care of the highest quality. The support staff of registered nurses have many years of professional experience as well as the practical experience of parenting.

Our practice works hard to provide the best pediatric healthcare available. We strive for the optimal physical and mental health in our patients. We are approachable and available. Our staff is expert in the care of children from birth through young adult. We take pride in our patients' healthy growth and development. Our goal is to be a resource for your family and a partner in your child's health.

HOURS
The phones are answered in each office Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm. The office has phone hours from 7:00am to 4:00pm on Saturday and Sunday office hours by appointment only as advised by the on-call doctor.

We do continue to review new health plans. Our participation reflects a consideration of a variety of factors, including coverage of patient services, fee schedules, payer reliability, subspecialty and hospital selection, and administrative imposition.

BILLING
Virginia Pediatric Group requires payment at the time of service. We accept personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards. Patients with standard co-pay are encouraged to make their payments at the time of check-in. Other insurance, private pay, or third party liability accounts are payable at the time of service.

Balances After Insurance
Patient statements are sent out on the 1st of every month. Payment in full is expected within 30 days. If payment arrangements are necessary, please contact our business office. Delinquent accounts left unpaid with no payment arrangements are turned to a collection service after 90 days. Many insurance companies will try to decrease their reimbursement by changing procedure codes or by not paying for multiple procedures. If the Explanation of Benefits from your insurance company unreasonably alters our billing codes or services, we will rely upon you for complete payment. We will assist you in appealing to your insurance company.

Appointment Cancellation and No-Show  
No shows and cancellations will be charged $35.00 for each appointment slot.

Well child check-up visits must be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time to avoid the $35.00 cancellation fee.

Sick visits must be cancelled within 1 hour of the scheduled appointment time to avoid the $35.00 cancellation fee.
