If you believe your child is experiencing a life-threatening emergency, CALL 911. When possible, we will call the emergency room and prepare the way for you. We prefer the emergency room the INOVA Fairfax Hospital for children for pediatric emergencies. Poison Control is at 800-222-1222. Please purchase syrup of Ipecac at the pharmacy and keep it at home in case Poison Control asks you to use it. Please childproof your home!
